As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide services to home care and occasional hospice patients with disturbances in functional ability in their own environment. You would become an integral part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our homecare team which is dedicated to make a difference in people’s lives.
This is a part time, hourly position, working 24 - 31 hours per week in the Lebanon/Hanover area.

Responsibilities for an Occupational Therapist (OT):
- Assesses client’s rehabilitation needs and potential in order to develop an occupational therapy program
- Instructs clients and family members regarding restoration of physical function and skills essential for independent living
- Develops, implements, evaluates and modifies occupational therapy services to clients under a physician’s plan of treatment in collaboration with other members of the health care team. This includes the implementation of Home Health Aides as needed.
- Oversees Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA/L) and Home Health Aides to ensure appropriate delivery of services as developed in the plan of treatment
- Records and reports client responses to the therapy regimen to the physician
- Maintains appropriate clinical records in accordance with corporation policies and procedures
- Assists in referring clients to other community resources as needed
- Provides educational programs as required to prepare other corporation personnel to assist in clients’ therapy regimen
- Participates in the organization’s performance improvement program and on other agency committees as requested
- Maintains professional competence by participating in continuing education programs
Qualifications for an Occupational Therapist (OT):
- Proof of up to date Covid-19 vaccination card to present at Orientation or engage in the exemption process prior to hire.
- Per the CDC, "A person is up to date with their Covid-19 vaccination if they have received all recommended doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible."
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT/L) in New Hampshire
- One-year clinical experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
