Backend Developer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design amp; develop scalable, high-performing backend systems that power our web platform
Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless integration with the UI/UX design
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
Develop and maintain databases, including designing schema and writing queries
Build and maintain RESTful APIs that can be easily consumed by our applications
Debug and troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes and improvements
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing scalable backend systems
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ideally typescript)
Experience with NoSQL databases (ideally MongoDB)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot production issues
Nice to have:
Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
